House Plants and Parrots

House plants are beautiful but some can be very toxic to your birds it is best to only keep bird-safe plants. If you would like to keep plants that are unsafe or you are unsure if they are safe, just remember to put them away in something like a closet or bathroom with the door shut while your bird is out. Always consult your vet if you have any concern as plant names can vary region to region. These are not plants that you should be feeding to your parrot but ones that can be around your home and you shouldn’t need to worry as much.
